PLEASE BRING ~ On Saturday evening we invite you to bring a special piece of pottery with you to truly personalize the "Unearthing of Beauty from Brokenness." It could be a favorite mug, a decorative plate, a vase, that is ceramic, porcelain or pottery. (Please avoid bringing glass objects). The piece can be something you have that is already cracked or lightly broken (or you can bring a piece you want to break). Presenter, Michelle Perez, will lead us in our Service Project, "Kintsugi," the Japanese art of mending broken ceramics with gold. We'll be repairing these pieces as a representation for our own lives. Just as cracks appear in pottery, challenges and hardships can leave their mark on us. But like the Kintsugi artist, God can use these experiences to make us stronger, more beautiful vessels of His love. As we mend our pottery with symbolic "gold," we'll reflect on how God's grace can transform our cracks into testaments of His divine care that has brought us through.
