Tammy Romero General Session Prayer Leader

Hello, my name is Tammy Romero. I have been employed at Children's Hospital in Denver for 14 1/2 years. Besides my employment, however, I also volunteer my time and singing talent at two different churches every Sabbath. In the morning hours on Sabbath, I serve at True Life Community Church. At that time, I am one of the singers, and I'm also the "Secret Prayer Partner" coordinator. I also serve as the "10-Days of Prayer" Coordinator each January and organize the "7-Hours of Prayer" in the fall of the year.

The afternoon hours on Sabbath find me volunteering as the Elder at Lakewood Fellowship Church. I have served in that capacity for several years.

If there is a favorite Bible verse that drives me, I would have to turn to Isaiah 41:10 which says: "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

My prayer is that these words will come alive with hope for me as well as for all those with whom I engage.
