What to Expect at Summit Sessions

A Camping Trip

VB Summit Sessions is a primitive camping trip. The limited amenities provided will be potable water and the site's four vault toilets. All else must be brought by the participant. This includes a tent shelter, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, food, a stove, weather appropriate clothing, and many other critical camping items (like chairs!). Relax

Camping is a great time to get away, relax, and enjoy good food with good friends and enjoy time in the great outdoors. Glacier View Ranch provides plenty of space for recreation and we hope you'll bring along your hiking boots, mountain bike, hammock, or whatever else refreshes you outside. Refresh

Camping is also a great time for us to be refreshed in our relationship with Jesus. We hope you'll join us for Vespers on Friday night, Worship on Sabbath and good fellowship with others that strengthens our relationship with Christ.

Itinerary

FridayNoon to 8pm

REGISTER - Catch a VB Staffer or Volunteer at the GVR entrance to let us know you're here and allow us to point you towards our camping area in Pathfinder Village. Late arrival? No worries, we will do our best to make sure you get where you need to be and check you in anytime during the weekend when you arrive.

Noon to 6:30pm

RELAX/RECREATE - set up camp, see who else is around and enjoy the recreation that Glacier View Ranch has to offer.

6:30pm - 7:45pm

EAT - Feed yourself, feed your friends.

7:45 - 8:30 PM

VESPERS & ANNOUNCEMENTS - Come meet with us by the flagpole for a short vespers program to bring in the Sabbath, good fellowship, and group information.

Saturday10:30 AM - 11:45 AM

WORSHIP - Come meet us by the flagpole for our Sabbath morning service.

Noon - 1:15

LUNCH - Feed yourself, feed your friends.

1:30 - 6:30

RELAX & RECREATE - Hike, mountain bike, four wheel, hammock.

6:30 - 7:30

DINNER - Provided by the VB staff, come all and come eat by the flagpole.

SundayNoon - 2:00PM

CHECKOUT - Leave happy with a clean campsite.
